History
Afsan Engineering Company was established in Ahwaz at the beginning of 1994 in order to design and production of industrial equipment relating to Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery and Steel industries. We started to support these industries with relevant spare parts at the middle of 1994. For the first time in Iran, Afsan designed and constructed miscellaneous types of wellhead valves upon requirement of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) at 1995 and the first sophisticated valve 2 1/16” which could tolerate 5000PSI pressure that Cameron and other American companies had the monopoly on production of this valve. In addition, the constructed valve passed the quality control tests in both laboratory and operational field. This lead to an honorable achievement for Afsan Company. Therefore, mass production of wellhead valves was started since then.
During sanction period, Afsan Company did its best to achieve self-sufficiency goal. For instance, the company repaired some check valves 4”-10K of KHAMI Oil Field, Furthermore, substituted ball valves with actuator gate valves in Injection and Collecting Gas of KOUPAL Oil Project.
Afsan Engineering Company received various quality certificates from technical inspection and metal erosion faculty of NISOC, BV Company, GL Company, Entebagh Avaran Co. Technical inspection department of National Iranian Drilling Co. Technical inspection department of Kala Naft. Moreover, it has ISO 2001-2008 and HSE certificate as well.
